The Director of Human Resources implements all Human Resources Policies and Procedures, managing facility employees in accord with professional standards and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Job Duties:
  • Ensures that all policies, procedures, and reporting requirements are followed in compliance with corporate, legal, and government requirements and reporting regulations. • Recruits, interviews, tests, and assists department heads with selection of qualified employees to fill vacant positions. • Prepares offer letters and rejection responses. • Schedules and participates in new employee orientation programs. Ensures that pre-orientation procedures are completed and that new hires are orientated in a timely fashion. • Maintains appropriate records of benefit plan participation, such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics as required for government reporting. • Coordinates, schedules, and may present training programs. • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues. • Administers benefits programs.
Job Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college; or equivalent combination of experience and education. • PHR/SPHR Certification preferred • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR required • Experience in Long-Term Care or Healthcare Setting preferred We're an equal opportunity employer.
